A Summer in Aspen
If you’re thinking “why the fuck would i want to spend my hot girl summer in a city that’s known as a winter wonderland”, then keep reading, this blog is for you! It’s no secret that Everyone knows Aspen is the place to see and be seen, especially during its peak season of fresh snowfall and the top notch Apres Ski social scene. Given the nickname “Mini Hollywood”, It's almost impossible to explore this glamorous city without running into a couple of your fav celebs (remember to play it cool if you do run into someone aka NO FANGIRLING)!
Though we totally recommend planning a trip during its world renowned shredding season, Aspen has so much more to experience than just the perfectly powdered mountains! We’re almost positive the super cliche quote “we came for the winters but stayed for the summers” was written because of Aspen being a year round vacation destination. From luxury shopping, to extravagant resorts, to Michelin star restaurants, to the picture perfect hiking & biking trails, to a variety of events all summer long, you’ll fall in love with this quaint town no matter which season you visit! The Weather -
During the summer days in Aspen, the weather averages around the mid 70’s- low 80’s with the summer nights being around the 60’s. (Literally LA weather!
Apres Ski Summer Scene -
Just because you aren’t skiing all day doesn’t mean you can’t “Apres Ski” all night! The bars and nightclubs are open year round with a lineup of artists that rivals Vegas! If you’re in the mood to party all night with music from top tier artists, try the infamous Belly Up! Some of their past performers have been; The Chainsmokers, Bazzi, Louis The Child, Rae Sremmurd, Snoop Dogg, Flume, and so many more! One of the more unique places to grab a drink (if you’re lucky enough to be invited or rent it out for a party) is the “secret” saloon style bar above the Kemo Sabe store. Once you step inside, you’re transported back in time to the Wild West! So, if you can make your way to the bar upstairs, like a cowboy after a long day on the ranch, order a shot of whiskey and dance to George Strait.

Whatever your experience level, Aspen is the perfect place to become one with nature by hiking one of the many scenic trails it has to offer! One of the most popular hiking spots is Maroon Bells where you can enjoy fishing, picnics, and don’t forget to bring your camera for the mountain photoshoot! If you’re looking for something more adventurous during your Aspen vacation, try rafting or paddle boarding in one of Aspen’s 3 nearby rivers, or check off a sunrise champagne balloon ride from your bucket list! If you are looking for a more chill day, hit the Aspen Golf Club where you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views and fresh air!
Annual festivals -
Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer season in Aspen with musical performances by top artists across different venues! Winter in Aspen is all about the snow, but Summer time in Aspen is all about the experience! Art & Culture thrives during the summer with events every week from weekly farmers markets to annual festivals like the Food and Wine Classic, Jazz Fest, Aspen Arts Fest, Music School, & so much more!
Lost forest -
Adventure park on the Snow mass Mountain that includes zip lines, hiking/biking trails, rock climbing walls & rappels, disc golf courses, a “tree line” challenge course (high up off the ground), and everyone’s fav Lost Forest activity, The Breathtaking Alpine Coaster, which is a mile long roller coaster through the Aspen forest that clocks in at 10 minutes from start to finish (same with most men lol) with a speed of 28 mph! Open daily from the end of June to early October.
